Whole-Body healing for pain, stress, and everyday balance

A Safe Place to Heal, Reset & Feel Like Yourself Again
If you’re here, it’s probably because something in your body isn’t cooperating. You may be experiencing pain that keeps coming back, stress that won’t settle, digestion that’s off, or a sense that you’re holding it together but not really feeling well. Perhaps you’re just curious about acupuncture and want to learn more.
My practice is built around one simple idea that healing happens when you feel safe, seen, and supported. Whether you’re here for pain relief, stress management, or to feel more grounded in your body, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move toward balance one step at a time.
Each treatment is designed with your whole self in mind, body, and spirit. Through acupuncture and complementary therapies, we work together to calm the nervous system, reduce pain, and help your body remember how to heal.

Meet Becky
I came to acupuncture as a patient long before I ever became a practitioner.
As a teenager and young adult, I lived with years of chronic pain, migraines, and neurological symptoms following a car accident. I cycled through medications, specialists, and explanations that never quite fit until I found acupuncture. That experience changed my life and eventually led me to change careers entirely.
Today, I’ve practiced acupuncture for over a decade and have been licensed since 2017. I bring both personal understanding and rigorous clinical training into every session. Patients often tell me they appreciate having time to talk and not feeling rushed, which I consider an essential part of good care. I take the time to understand what’s showing up in your body, choose points and techniques based on that day’s presentation, and adjust as we see how you respond.
What Acupuncture Can Help With
People come to Arundel Acupuncture for many reasons. Below are some of the most common areas I work with.

Chronic pain
Whether pain is recent or something you’ve been managing for years, acupuncture can help reduce intensity, improve mobility, and calm an overworked nervous system. Treatment may focus locally, systemically, or both, depending on what your body needs.

Stress, anxiety, and mood concerns
Acupuncture is often used to support the nervous system when stress feels constant or overwhelming. Many people notice better sleep, improved focus, and a greater sense of emotional steadiness over time.

Digestive issues
Digestive symptoms are often connected to stress, inflammation, and nervous system regulation. Treatment looks at patterns rather than isolated symptoms and supports the gut as part of the whole body.

Women’s health and hormonal balance
Acupuncture is commonly used to support menstrual cycles, fertility, perimenopause, and menopause. Care is individualized and responsive to where you are in your life and health.

Weight loss support
Acupuncture can support weight loss efforts by addressing stress, digestion, cravings, and metabolic balance. It works best as part of a broader, realistic approach rather than a quick fix.

Addictions and changing habits
Treatment can help reduce cravings, regulate stress responses, and support behavior change. Many people use acupuncture as an additional layer of support alongside other tools.

Mental health support
While acupuncture does not replace therapy or medical care, it can be a helpful complement for people managing depression, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm by supporting regulation and resilience.
Acupuncture can be both deeply restorative and very practical. Some people feel relief quickly; others benefit from a short course of consistent care. We’ll talk honestly about what makes sense for you.
More Than Just Needles
Acupuncture is at the center of what I do, but it’s rarely the only tool used in a session. Treatments may also include

Cupping & Gua Sha
To improve circulation and release muscle tension.

Ear seeding
For ongoing support between visits.

Reiki
For gentle nervous system and energetic support.

Guidance
Lifestyle guidance rooted in Chinese medicine.
Each treatment is woven together intentionally always with your comfort and goals in mind.
What To Expect
Your first visit includes time to talk. We’ll review your intake, discuss your symptoms, and look at patterns that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing. From there, I’ll create a treatment plan specific to you and your needs.
Many patients describe acupuncture sessions as deeply relaxing, and it’s common to drift into a restorative “nap” once the needles are placed. It’s normal to feel calm, energized, tired, or simply more settled afterward.
Care is typically weekly at first, especially for chronic or long-standing concerns. Over time, many patients transition into maintenance or tune-up visits as needed.

A practice for real people
I work with people of all ages, from children to older adults, and from many different backgrounds. You don’t need to be “into” alternative medicine to be here. You just need to be open to looking at your health a little differently. This is not a one-and-done approach, it’s about supporting your body’s ability to heal and adapt.
